Parenting, Sleep and Impossible Standards

There appears to be a trend in the wellness industry around creating and projecting a standard that you should meet in order to look after yourself effectively. A level of self-care you should be reaching as the blueprint for success in this area. In my work as a sleep consultant, I work with families to achieve their own individual goals. I don’t have a one size fits all approach that you, as a family, should be working towards in order to fit in the box of the perfect parent. There isn’t one perfect routine or lifestyle you should be aiming for — not in my consultancy anyway.
